Repository周りというかTeam pluginをちょっと調べてみた。

Eclipse Plug-in

別に特に意味はないけどどんな感じなんだろうと思っただけｗ
既存でcvsはあるけどそこら辺は除外

Dependencisとして

の2つ。意外と少なかった。

意外と拡張ポイント多いのね。。。とりあえず、拡張ポイントのDescriptionあたりを読みつつ、EclipseのCVSプラグインやらSVNプラグイン、またまた、Subclipseあたりのソースを参考にするのもありかな。
uiにperspectiveに関係しているものがないところが気になる。。。
